The Glacial Abyss rebuilt: snowy mountains, hidden valleys and packed hunts

The Glacial Abyss was one big open snowfield with lonely creatures scattered everywhere. Not anymore.

Mountains and valleys

• Snowy mountain ranges now cross the island and split it into valleys, coves and narrow passes.
• The great western range hides a whole valley inside it, with a single way in.
• The frozen paths, the lakes, Frostfang Spire and every dungeon entrance are exactly where they were.

Packed hunts

• 30 hunting spots with 3 creatures each, about 90 creatures instead of 55.
• Ice wolves in the west and north, frost spiders in the east and south, both in the middle.
• The hunts sit in the valleys and coves between the mountains: less walking, more fighting.

Roads and signposts

• A new road leaves Semura's north gate and leads to the bridge and across the Western isle.
• The east road now continues to the edge of the Semura desert.
• Signposts at the crossroads tell you where each road goes: look at one to read it.
